We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to assist in daily office operations.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and transfer to appropriate staff member
  • Exhibits polite and professional manner and communication
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Monitor incoming emails and reply, respond as necessary
  • Fax, scan, and copy documents
  • Maintain complex office filling systems
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists
  • Retrieve information when requested
  • Type documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Edit invoices and work orders
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained
  • Keep office area clean and tidy
  • Have knowledge or ability to learn e-commerce driven order and processing
  • Ability to process orders received accurately and timely

Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in office administrative procedures
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office
  • Exceptional numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be highly organized and demonstrate attention to detail/accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Be capable of working independently
  • Adapt, flexible and ability to accurately complete varied assignments
  • Be prompt, reliable, and dependable
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong phone and communication skills
  • Have an “All-Hands-On-Deck” attitude
  • Must provide at least 3 references
  • Must pass, a drug and background check
