# How to Mount the Odyssey

Mount your Odyssey fan unit on a wall, just inside the entrance of the space you want to scent.

## Before you start

- Use the screws included with your unit.
- The unit needs only one battery, even though it has room for two.

## Choose a location

- Mount the unit about 6½ to 7 feet above the floor.
- Place it just inside the entrance. In a restroom, mount it close to the door, where airflow from the door opening and closing helps circulate the fragrance.
- **Don’t mount the unit above a restroom door.** This is unsafe.

## Mount the unit

1. Pull out the bottom tray to reveal where to drill.
2. Insert the first screw, above the motor.
3. Make sure the unit is level, then insert the second screw.
4. Push the motor assembly up to cover the first screw.
5. Insert the bottom tray. It covers the second screw.

**Important:** Don’t hang the unit on a single screw or use sticky tape. The unit’s weight may cause it to fall.

## Add the fragrance wafer

1. Carefully open the package and remove the wafer.
2. Place the wafer against the back of the inside of the unit. This slows evaporation and keeps the fragrance from becoming too strong.
