Installation, scheduling, and maintenance guidelines for the Powershot metered mist dispenser.
Installation #
- Mount the unit on the wall, about 7 feet above the floor, using only the hardware provided.
- Use two screws: one in the upper-right corner and one in the lower-left corner.
- Don’t hang the unit on a single screw or use adhesive strips. Its weight may cause it to fall.
- Place the unit just inside the entrance of the space. In hallways, make sure it doesn’t spray directly onto visitors.
- Don’t mount the unit above a restroom door. This is unsafe.
Schedule #
The unit comes preprogrammed. Adjust it to run during the hours the space is in use; continuous 24-hour operation isn’t necessary.
Maintenance #
- Regularly check and wipe down the front and window of the unit.
- Every 28 days, open the unit and turn it off to reset the timer, replace the can if needed, then press the red button to restart it.
